So far, Interlaken is the most beautiful place I have ever had the opportunity to see. Interlaken is a small, quaint town nestled between two stunning glacier lakes. The lakes are strikingly blue because the water which fills them is, in fact, from melting glaciers.

 

I have purposely not edited the photos on this page to make a point: this truly what Interlaken looks like. It looks even more unbelievable in person and is the true definition of a "pinch yourself moment". I went back to Interlaken twice during the time I lived in Europe, giving up the chance to visit a new country just to be here again. I struggle to find the words to describe how much I adore this place, all I can say is that if you have the chance to go anywhere in the world, go here.
